#BringBackOurGirls rally last summer 2014  was one of the fulfilling activities I personally enjoyed with quite a few of my Odu’a family present. The rally was very well attended by teenagers, young adults, parents, church groups, other local groups and your Odu’a family. The crowd was energetic, vibrant, and the message was clear “Bring Back Our Girls”. Our leaders received an email from organizer Sola Obayan inviting Odu’a Organization of Michigan members to lend our voices in support of #BringBackOurGirls.

Our leaders forwarded the e-mail to our membership. At Odu’a we have always prided ourselves on taking a leadership role in our community and always supporting community events.  #BringBackOurGirls was a great cause to support. Moreover, it was organized by one of our young adults and her colleagues.Many people came out to support this great cause with even more support by bystanders along Woodward Avenue.I was very happy I came to lend  my voice to the cause.What an euthusiastic rally for a great cause.
